Arsenal went into the game against Bodo/Glimt with the knowledge that a win will edge them closer to qualifying for the next round.
However, most Arsenal players played woefully and maybe, one could say that it’s because some none regular starters started the match like Eddie Nketiah, Sambi Lokonga and others.
Below are the 3 worst players among them.
Eddie Nketiah is the chief worst player among all of them. He wasted not less than 5 great chances which he should have scored and that alone culminated in Arsenal’s inability to score more than 1 goal.
Sambi Lokonga has shown why he may never make the starting 11 ahead of Thomas Partey. He did not protect the back-4 well and that resulted in enormous pressure from the home team, limiting the attacking progress of the whole team.
Bukayo Saka was off his game and his dribbling was too much as he failed to pass the ball on many occasions when he should have passed it. His inability to make a decisive final pass led to Arsenal’s limited scoring opportunities. He was lucky to have gotten on the score sheet.
