Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney had a great performance for his national team Scotland in their 3:0 victory over Ukraine in the Nations League last night.
Kieran Tierney was called up by his national team Scotland following his impressive performance for club side Arsenal this season. The Arsenal star started the game against Ukraine at the defense line alongside Scott McKenna and Nathan Petterson and they helped Scotland secure a clean sheet.
The first half of the game ended in a goalless draw as Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn opened the scoring for Scotland in the 70th minute of the game. However, substitute Lyndon Dykes doubled the lead in the 80th minute before scoring the last goal of the game in the 87th minute to make it 3-0 at full-time.
Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney was outstanding for Scotland in the game last night, as he was able to coordinate the defense and help their goalkeeper Craig Gordon to keep a clean sheet.
