Bukayo Saka may be available for Sunday Premier League match against Southampton according to Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
The 21-year-old experienced discomfort after taking a kick to the calf during Thursday’s Europa League victory against PSV Eindhoven, which guaranteed the Gunners’ passage into the knockout rounds.
Arsenal predicted XI against Southampton:
Matt Turner, who had little issue against PSV, will turn the gloves back over to Aaron Ramsdale for this match as William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes reconvene in front of him.
Takehiro Tomiyasu might switch back to his new position on the left wing if Ben White returns at right-back, which would make Kieran Tierney leave the squad.
Granit Xhaka will team up with Thomas Partey in the midfield, and Martin Odegaard will replace Fabio Vieira.
The four-goal Englishman will be good to replace Saka up front with Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus, however Vieira and Reiss Nelson will be ready in case Saka is not deemed fit.
