The Blues will shift their attention to their next English Premier League game where they will be at loggerheads with Brentford after a hard-fought win against Aston Villa.
Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly and his camp succeeded in enriching their squad depth this summer with the likes of kalidou Koulibaly, Marc Cucurella, Gabriel Slonina, and Raheem Sterling making a move to Stamford Bridge. One player that has been linked with a move to the Premier League is Neymar.
According to reports coming from Witness, The west London club has ‘changed their mind’ about the Brazil international. The report has it that ‘Todd Boehly’s club approves’ the investment of €40m per year, which is Neymar’s net salary, to bring him to Stamford Bridge, provided he maintains current his form.
The report adds that the Brazilian international Neymar, who has 12 goals and nine assists from 16 matches this season, is obsessed with getting in shape for the Qatar World Cup slated to commence next month. It remains to be seen if these reports are true.
