While in primary 2 I went to visit him and he said I will never go back to that school, when school resumed the clerk of the court came and arrested me and arrested him, they took me back to school and they took him to prison, the following day he was taken before the court and he was fined 10 shillings in those days, my father said he didn’t have money but my maternal grandmother paid the fine. After the fine was paid my father said he is reporting me to God, I never saw my father until he died, my maternal parents brought me up from primary to secondary and to university”.
