If the results and titles did not come, new coach will come

Barcelona football club head coach Xavi Hernandez has spoken about his future at the club, two days after his team crashed out of the UEFA Champions League, following their embarrassing 3-0 defeat to Bayern Munich football club at Camp Nou Stadium.

The Spaniard has not been getting it right since he was appointed as Barcelona football club head coach last season and he is yet to win a trophy for the club.

Xavi Hernandez replaced sacked Ronald Koeman last season and all their hope of winning titles last season were not successful.

Barcelona football club signed a lot of players during the summer transfer window, but despite that they failed to progress to the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League, and they are currently sitting at the second spot of the Spanish Laliga Santander table with three points behind Real Madrid football club.

Barcelona won just one game from five matches played in this season’s UEFA Champions League, they lost three and drew one and that’s why they crashed out of the UEFA Champions League.

Speaking to newsmen about his future on Friday, Xavi Hernandez said;

“I feel confident in this project. This season the goal is to win titles. The results will come, and ‘if they do not come, then a new coach will come.”

“Signings in January? The board is working, of course but it’s too early to talk about this.”
