Players like Ansu Fati didn’t play for the majority of the previous season, but has made tremendous impact for Barcelona in the current season. It’s possible he wasn’t selected because the national team manager believes that he needed more game time to be able to make it to the team. The image below depicts players who were left out of the Spanish squad.

Despite the great contribution of Sergio Ramos for Paris Saint-Germain, he was still left out of the squad. This is not the first time be was left out of the squad and this could be attributed to the fact that the current national team manager wants younger players to gain more experience ahead of the future. However, Chelsea new signing Cucrella didn’t make the list despite his sensation move to the Premier league club. However, he called up in the future but this will depend on his performance for his current club.
