Super Eagles of Nigeria prolific and versatile dazzler, Moses Simon was in action today for French Ligue 1 giant Nantes in their 11th league game of the new campaign at home against Brest at the Stade de la Beaujoire.
The 27 year old and former Levante star was handed a role to play in his team’s starting XI line-up having been a key figure in the squad since breaking his way into the squad and he was able to deliver yet at the peak, as he played his part and also contributed his quota in the massive comeback win.
Moses Simon in the game scored a goal which was instrumental in helping his team end a 7-game winless streaks across all competitions (6L 1D), as they got back to winning ways with grand style by running riot with a four goals to one scoreline at full time.
Noah Fadiga gave the visitor the lead in the 18th minute of the game to make it one nil before the host got their form back on track as they got an equalizer in the 35th minute via penalty, as Moses Simon put the ball away from the spot to make it 1-2 after which they got the lead in the 36th minute with a goal from Ignatius Ganago to make it two goals to one going into the half time break.
The host in the second half were more clinical as they put up some more incredible displays and as such got their lead extended in the 71st minute courtesy of a goal from Mostafa Mohamed to make it three goals to one, after which Moussa Sissoko sealed the remarkable comeback win in the 88th minute which ended the game four goals to one at full time.
Moses Simon with his great influx of delivery in the game will be hoping to keep the tempo and momentum going for his team in their next game as they continue their pursuit in the competition.
