Two managers who were sacked today

1. Bruno Lage

Club: Wolves

English Premier League side, Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed that they have parted ways with Bruno Lage after poor results and the Board will open talks with new candidates for the managerial position next week.

The 46 year old who won the league title and the super cup title in 2019 was appointed by Wolves on July 1st, 2021 and he managed 51 games in all competitions with 19 wins, 23 defeats and an average point per match of 1.29.

2. Marco Giampaolo

Club: Sampdoria

Former AC Milan and Empooi manager, Marco Giampaolo was also sacked by Serie A side, Sampdoria today following a run of poor form which saw Sampdoria sit in the last position on the Serie A table with 2 points.

The 55 year old who also managed Cagliari and Empoli was sacked after a run of 8 league games without a win with 2 draws and 6 defeats.
